Prayer Request

In the Bible, we see that the Church is not a building, but a body of believers. If you are visiting CSZ for the first time I want to welcome you and encourage you that you are in the company of other believers that care about you and the struggles you may be facing in your life.

This portion of our page is dedicated to offering prayer for one another. If you would like for our staff to pray for you or a particular request you have please feel free to leave a comment in this section. If you would like your prayer request kept private, just indicate that in your message. All comments are screened before they are allowed to appear for public view and we can pray for you privately if you wish.

One of the most amazing facts about our Christian faith is that we have a God who not only is all powerful, all knowing, and all seeing, but that he wishes to spend time with us. We consider it an honor to be able to go to the Lord in prayer for you and hope that you will include us in your prayers as well.

Matthew Chapter 18 verse 20 (NIV) "For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

Prayer

Father God,

We stand in awe of your power, your might, but most of all your great love. Father, it is beyond our comprehension that while we were yet sinners you sent your Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the price for our sins. We praise you, Father, with all that we are, not only calling out your name before men but singing in our souls that you are master. You are the perfect one and the sustainer of all good things.
Father, we come to you asking that you would purge from our hearts the unclean things of the world to which we have exposed ourselves . We ask that you forgive us for our short comings and the times when we did not fully rely on you. Be with us, help us to do better in the hours, days and weeks to come.
Father, we know that you are the great healer and physician. We ask that for those who are hurting, for those who are suffering illnesses, touch these hurting souls Father and bring them back to health if it be your will. If it is not in your will Lord, then bring peace we pray to those who suffer and to those who love them.
Finally, Father we ask that in this moment of quiet as we pause from reading and doing the talking, that you would speak to our hearts. Guide and direct us so that we might better follow you.

Father we thank you for being an approachable, loving God. We praise your name above all others and cling to your promises of life and hope. All glory, laud and honor be unto you My King. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
